Burger King Is Reportedly Bringing Back The Big King XL Burger
If I’m going out for a fast-food burger, I tend to want it to be as big as possible. I want to feel a hefty burger in my hands and feel uncomfortably full afterwards. It’s just who I am! Luckily for me, and, well, for all of us really, Burger King is reportedly bringing back a massive fan-favorite burger that packs a whole lot of stuff in between its buns.
According to Chew Boom, Burger King will soon be welcoming back the Big King XL Burger, which it first introduced last year. The burger is made witha half-pound of beef, melted American cheese, onions, pickles, lettuce and “savory sauce” on a toasted sesame bun.
If this sounds kind of familiar to you, yes, this burger seemed to be created in order to compete with a certain McDonald’s creation…the Big Mac. Burger King claims that the burger has 175 percent more beef than the Big Mac (though no word yet on how it stacks up to the new Double Big Mac).
Though we haven’t spotted this on Burger King menus just yet, Chew Boom claims that they should be rolling out again for a limited time starting April 2, and that they’ve already been spotted in some locations ahead of this reported release.
This super-sized sandwich has been spotted again in Canada, so fingers crossed it’s coming back here too. We reached out to Burger King for more information and we’ll be sure to update this post if we hear back.
