Chili’s Is Celebrating Its Anniversary With $3.13 Margaritas

Good news for all drinkers out there who could use a good margarita or two right about now: Chili’s is celebrating its 45th anniversary by offering Presidente Margaritas for only $3.13 this Friday. It’s true! Not all heroes wear capes!

On March 13, the chain is making their signature marg cheaper based on the date of its anniversary. The Presidente Margarita, for those who have never had the pleasure of tasting or don’t recall, is made with Sauza tequila, Presidente brandy, and Patrón Citrónge orange liqueur. It’s hand-shaken 25 times on the way to your table and poured into a blue-rimmed glass. To sweeten the deal on this day of celebration, the margs will come in special cups that customers can take home as party favors while supplies last.

Leading up to the big 4-5, Chili’s asked customers to add songs to their birthday playlist to potentially play throughout their locations on Friday. The list has quite the mix of songs from “bad guy” by Billie Eilish to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls to “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere” by Jimmy Buffet. They also called on Chili’s fans to help create a birthday bucket list. Notable suggestions include “Make Chili’s Happy Hour into Happy Days!!” and “Give everyone who has the same birthday as [Chili’s] a free meal on [its anniversary day]!”

At least we know this Friday the 13th will be a lucky one when it comes to anniversary celebrations and marg deals!
