These Parents Created A ‘Club Quarantine’ For Their Son’s 21st Birthday

The news around the COVID-19 outbreak is constantly changing, but information about food safety and how to keep yourself healthy is crucial right now. Here is a comprehensive list on the foods you should be stocking up on during this period of social distancing, as well as information about your local grocery stores’ changing hours, an explanation of “no-contact delivery,” and a guide on how to help your community and its businesses throughout closures.

From Lysol wipe-shaped cakes to in-home pub crawls, people have had to get creative with their birthday celebrations as they practice social distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak. For one guy’s 21st birthday, his parents created a makeshift club in their garage that came complete with free birthday shots. It’s honestly so great, and there’s no way it won’t make you laugh.

On TikTok, @emilytorchia posted two videos of the birthday scene her parents built for her brother. The first shows her brother getting ID’d at the entrance of the club–arguably the best part about turning 21 (when you can prove your legitimacy without worry). After a flashlight inspection from his dad, the birthday boy is let inside where he’s welcomed with music on blast, lights, and a friendly bartender…AKA his mom. To celebrate, the bartender whips up some free birthday shots–what every 21st birthday star should get. They’re green tea shots, which generally involve whiskey, Peach Schnapps, sour mix, and lemonade or Sprite.

That’s not all, though! Justin Bieber even makes a surprise appearance at this club…sort of. In the second Tik Tok, you can see the birthday boy hanging out with a cutout of the Biebs (where can I get one?) and watch the whole fam take shots.

We can only hope there were tons of greasy food and cake at the end of the night and plenty of hangover food in the morning.
