ABC’s “Disney Family Singalong” Airs This Week
Looking to up your shower singing game? ABC has you covered this week with a Disney family singalong that’ll bring your favorite Disney tunes into your home in a whole new way. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the magical one-hour special The Disney Family Singalong will air on ABC this Thursday, April 16 at 8 p.m. EDT.
An animated character will guide viewers to follow along with the on-screen lyrics. Expect songs from classics like Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid as well as ones from newer favorites like Frozen and Moana. Stars including John Stamos, Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, and Luke Evans will make special guest appearances during the singalongs with their families at home. The special will also raise awareness about Feeding America and how to support the organization’s COVID-19 efforts.
“If there’s something that we’ve all learned in the past few weeks, it’s to cherish every moment and the importance of connection, whether through laughter, stories or music,” Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, said in an announcement. “We hope that we can help create some new unforgettable moments in everyone’s home in a way that only the magic of Disney can.”
