Applebee’s Has Long Island Iced Teas As Its $1 Drink Of The Month For March

A Long Island Iced Tea is one of the toughest drinks to get right. There are about a million types of liquor in there, with just a splash of soda, and yet it’s supposed to taste sweet and sippable. Lucky for all of us, Applebee’s is not only up to the task, but it’s presenting us with a delicious Long Island Iced Tea for just $1 all month long.

Applebee’s announced that its $1 Drink of the Month for March is the Dollar L.I.T, a take on the “traditional” Long Island Iced Tea. Get it? L.I.T? You get it, you’re smart, sorry to doubt you.

For some reason that has never made sense to me, a Long Island Iced Tea actually has no iced tea in it. What’s up with that? It’s made with a blend of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, and sweet & sour topped with cola. That’s a whopping five different types of liquor. And yeah, it’s only $1!

This is the perfect drink to get whether you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or just the fact that it’s warming up outside. You can buy a round for your crew of friends without breaking the bank.

Like all of Applebee’s delicious $1 Drinks of The Month, you can find this for the entire month at participating Applebee’s locations before it’s swapped out with a new one in April. It’ll come sooner than you think so be sure to get some Long Islands in while you can…
