In response to the coronavirus pandemic affecting the world, celebrities are stepping up. Ciara and Russell Wilson are the latest stars to donate meals to a food bank in their community.

The couple posted a video to their Instagram accounts talking about what is going on in the world before announcing that they would be donating 1 million meals to the Seattle Food Life Line, a food bank in their area. They also urged others, if they have the means, to donate to similar organizations that can help get meals to those in need during such an uncertain time.

“We want to encourage everyone out there to join us in whatever way you can, big or small, everything makes a difference,” Ciara said in the video. “Everything we do together makes a difference and together we will conquer this tough time that we’re going through.”

The two ended the video by reminding their fans and followers to continue to practice social distancing, to stay blessed, and to let them know they are praying for everyone.

Ciara and Russell aren’t the first celebrities to donate to food banks across the nation. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Likely donated $1 million to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. Stephen and Ayesha Curry said this past weekend that they were donating one million meals to the Alameda County Food Bank to help get meals to children that may be impacted by the school closures.

Keep it up, you guys.
