Tastykake’s Spring Lineup Is Here

If the weather isn’t enough to show you that spring is here for real, Tastykake’s new line of seasonal treats will be. The brand’s seasonal items are all flavored with lemon and blueberry, so they’re guaranteed to brighten up any dessert plate.

The line of baked goods comes with two lemon-flavored offerings, including lemon juniors and lemon mini donuts. The Juniors are two layers of vanilla cake stacked with lemon frosting in between, and the lemon donuts are tart donuts coated with white powdered sugar. The mini donuts come in either six-count packages or resealable bags.

Blueberry Sweet Rolls are also one of the main events of the Tastykake Spring line up, and are similar to a cinnamon roll but with a fruity twist. These pastries are filled with blueberry flavor and coated in a sweet glaze. Each box comes with six Sweet Rolls each. Tastykake also sells blueberry mini donuts as a seasonal summer offering, so we should be seeing those in stores soon too.

It’s not just lemon- and blueberry-flavored snacks that are being released with this seasonal line; peach cobbler mini donuts and strawberries & creme glazed pie are also available. Peach cobbler donuts are a peach-flavored ring covered in a crumbly, cobbler-like coating rather than the typical powdered sugar. The pie is a flaky crust filled with strawberry cream and coated in glaze.

These baked snacks should be in stores now through May. In May, it’s likely the summer treats will also start popping up, so if you want to try any of these out, make sure you do so while they’re still on shelves so you don’t have to wait and see if they return again next year.
