IHOP’s New Limited-Time Breakfast Sandwich Is Served On A Brioche Bun
You know, a lot of things may be very, very bleak right now, but our fast food favs continue to introduce new delicious innovations and ideas that have proven crucial to keeping us sane and strong (see: Chick-fil-A’s recipe videos and McDonald’s Double Big Mac drop, to name a few). Today’s joy comes to us via IHOP, which just confirmed the existence of a new breakfast sandwich.
Yes, my friends, per Chew Boom, IHOP now has a “Classic Brioche Breakfast Sandwich” on menus for a limited time. The site describes the undoubtedly phenomenal item as “a grilled brioche bun sandwiching folded, fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon and American cheese.” Simple! Greasy! Delicious.
The selection just popped up on IHOP’s site, where they confirm it’ll go for $3.99 at participating locations and is about 600 calories per sandwich. Also of note: You can’t currently dine-in at IHOP given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the site notes this new offering is available for curbside pick-up and delivery wherever it is being offered.
No word on how limited a time we’re looking at here, but given the simplicity of the sandwich (and how popular it’s sure to be!), hopefully we’ll be seeing the buttery, buttery thing on menus throughout the spring. And if not? Well, there are always about 17,000 varieties of pancakes to try your hand at. That works, too.
