Disney Shared Its Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana French Toast Recipe
Disney, in all of its infinite wisdom, has decided to bless us yet again with another recipe from its resorts. While we already had a grilled cheese sandwich (with churros) for lunch and a Dole whip for dessert, the company has now given us an Insta-worthy brunch recipe worthy of obsessing over.
This fabled recipe is one for the Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana French Toast that’s served seasonally at Disney’s PCH Grill at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in California. Unlike your typical French toast, this is more like a French toast casserole that you can spoon out of a giant serving dish, perfect for feeding your whole family easily without standing over the stove all morning.
Best of all, the recipe utilizes lots of ingredients that are likely leftovers or need to be used up, like day-old challah bread and ripe bananas (see ya, banana bread!). The whole recipe takes nine ingredients, many of which you probably already have or can make (milk + chocolate syrup = chocolate milk, duh!), and it comes together in about an hour with prep time. Not bad for getting a Disney-approved meal on the table!
Top the whole thing off with your favorite syrup, pair it with some milk for the kids (and maybe a mimosa for the parents), and you have a deliciously decadent brunch you didn’t need to leave the house for. Throw on that video of Thunder Mountain Railroad and you have yourself a pretty festive day. You can find the entire recipe here.
