The Whole “High School Musical” Cast Including Zac Efron Will Be Reuniting For a Singalong Reunion

  • The cast of High School Musical reunited on Zoom together the other night, but Zac Efron was missing.
  • On Thursday, the cast will come together once again to perform and this time, Zac is promised to be there.

The cast of High School Musical will be reuniting on TV on Thursday night as part of The Disney Family Singalong, and this time, Zac Efron will be in attendance.

The movie’s director, Kenny Ortega told Deadline that various actors from his movies and TV series will get together to sing “We’re All In This Together.” Kenny said that Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel will all “participate in one way or another” and Zac will also share a message during the show.

It’s unclear exactly what this means. Maybe we will get another dance party like the TikTok one Ashley put on a couple of weeks ago. It seems like they recorded something previously and Zac wasn’t a part of it, but he has since sent some sort of video in to be featured on the show.

This reunion comes after the Zoom between the HSM cast from over the weekend. Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin, Monique, and other got together to chat, but Zac was visibly absent.

In addition to the HSM reunion, the Disney singalong will include some stars from Kenny’s other projects like Raven-Symoné from Cheetah Girls, as well as the cast of The Descendants, Zombies, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Charli D’Amelio will also be in attendance.

The one-hour event will air on ABC on Thursday, April 16th at 8pm Eastern.
