Aldi Is Bringing Back Its $9 Bottled Mimosa In A Pineapple Flavor

Update, April 10, 2020: Aldi’s pineapple-flavored bottled mimosas are back on shelves, and the timing has never been better. We all deserve at least one mimosa that takes literally no effort to make as a little treat, no?

Instagrammer @aldi.mademedoit spotted the $8.99 bottles that scream spring. Made with freshly squeezed pineapple juice, the drink has an eight percent ABV and comes in a 750-milliliter bottle. The bottle’s design is so gorgeous, you’ll want to use it as decor when you down its contents.

People lost their minds in the comments. “It’s sooooo good!” one commenter wrote. “I couldn’t wait and already opened it!”

It’s unclear how long these will be around, but let’s hope they stay in stores for at least all of spring and ideally until the end of summer. Cheers!

Original post, March 24, 2019: Last year, we all just about lost our minds at the discovery of Aldi’s $9 bottled mimosas. At the time, those were available in a classic orange flavor, but POPSUGAR reports this year’s return of the product will have that OG flavor, plus a pineapple version.

According to the site, the 750-milliliter orange bottle will be coming back to stores across the country on April 3. Its pineapple-flavored cousin, though, will make its nationwide debut in stores the very next day.

Both bottles will sell for $8.99 and they’ll also both have an eight percent ABV (those two delightful facts seem equally important at this point, no?). It’s unclear how long the bottled mimosas will remain on shelves this time around, but seeing as last year’s run was no more than a few weeks, expect the same this year and plan to stock up when you go buy a bunch on April 3…and again on April 4.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for you on the subject for now. Shall we discuss what we all plan to do with our 17 respective bottles of pineapple mimosa? I can’t decide if I should stretch them out and enjoy some every Sunday morning from April 3 through the rest of 2019 or if I should host the rowdiest brunch of all time and make my friends the classiest, easiest drinks of all time.

Your thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated. TYSM in advance.
