Chrissy Teigen Settled Food Debates On Twitter

Next month, Chrissy Teigen will be staring in Chrissy’s Court, a show that is set to launch on the new streaming service Quibi. The show will be a Judge Judy-style program, with Chrissy deciding the fate of petty arguments. To get us all pumped for the show, Chrissy settled debates on Twitter, and weighed in on some of the hottest food takes of all time.

The first question she answered was arguably one of the most divisive. A follower asked Chrissy to help her end an argument between her husband about if a hot dog is a sandwich or not, and her answer was shocking. According to Miss Teigen, a hot dog is a “species” of sandwich. I will personally not be commenting further on the matter for fear of ridicule.

Then, a bunch of people asked questions about proper microwave etiquette. One user said her boyfriend doesn’t let her open the microwave before the time runs out for fear of leaking the radiation out (?) and another’s mother-in-law refuses to clear the microwave timer after taking out her food a couple seconds early.

As for how to store butter, Chrissy thinks as long as it’s in the appropriate storage container or dish, go for it. She also has a very specific way of eating Pringles that yields the greatest salt ratio and optimizes the crunch factor.

And finally, the verdict that we all needed to hear. The only Teigen-approved way to eat string cheese is to pull it apart in sections, not taking bites right out of the thing. Come on people! As Chrissy points out, the food itself is literally called string cheese.

So yeah, safe to say I’ll be tuning into Chrissy’s Court in April. I rest my case.
