Disney’s Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars Are In Stores

Update: March 2, 2020

Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches have been on shelves for a couple months now, so if you haven’t gotten them yet you’re a little late to the game. On the up side, when you go to finally pick up your ice cream sandwiches you can also find the iconic chocolate-dipped Mickey ice cream bars at grocery stores too.

If you have FOMO from vacation food pics more than the actual vacation, this is amazing news for you. Back in January @adventureisout_there saw the ice cream sandwiches at Ralph’s and just recently @Dadbodsnacks saw the ice cream sandwiches, dipped ice cream, and Mickey and Minnie ice cream cups at Meijer, a midwestern super store.

Disney Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars – 6ct

We found them online at Target for about $7 a box if you’re not a midwesterner and still want to get your hands on them. Each box comes with six ice cream bars, but let’s be real these are limited edition and won’t last long in your house so you should pick up more than one box if you see them. These will make your freezer the (second) happiest place on earth.

Here at Delish, we know that the best part of Disney is the food. While the parks always switch up their menu offerings, some Disney food staples are just as iconic as the silhouette of Magic Kingdom—but now, you don’t have to wait until your next vacation to eat them. All of this is to say that Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches have been spotted at grocery stores!!

The Mickey Mouse ice cream bars were found in grocery stores last year. Now, the ice cream sandwiches that little kids and adults both enjoy while strolling the park have been spotted at Ralph’s.

The ice cream sandwiches are essentially cookies and cream ice cream stuffed between two chocolate wafers, but rather than the boring rectangular shape, these sandwiches are shaped and detailed to look just like Mickey’s face. Each box comes with six sandwiches inside and the ice cream is made with light cream.

They were spotted by Instagram user @andventureisout_there, whose entire feed is dedicated to Disney, and let’s just say people up in the comments were excited. “I so hope I can find them,” wrote one. “Omg I would love these!” said another.

According to WDW News Today, the store-bought ice cream sandwiches are a bit smaller than the ones you can get at the parks and they cost about $10 per box. The ice cram sandwiches that you can buy at park carts are about five ounces, while the ones available in stores are three-and-a-half ounces each.

As of right now there is no telling if these ice cream sandwiches will only be around for a limited time. Disney fans do go hard, though, so it’s likely the select grocers these are available at will have to restock soon.
