I had a request from a newer post-op to do a weblog post of the pureed foods I ate. Add chicken stock and simmer gently for about 15-20 minutes, till all the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is soft but not soggy (if you like it a bit soggy, like I do, just add a small drop of water if it appears dry). I like to take the little ones to the farmer’s market and local farms to introduce them to exactly where their meals comes from. It can be as easy or difficult as you want to make it. Those piquillo peppers are great, also!
Would have loved to attempt your tasy sounding recipes but….We have just had a large free variety chicken for Christmas, as we have been staying at property and being quiet, with just the two of us this year. I know of pensioners who like to purchase their meals in the late afternoon, as this is the time when they can uncover the very best bargains, when the meals stores weed out all their perishable food to flog off cheaply before it has to be destroyed. Split chicken breast is less expensive than boneless/skinless chicken breast but it’s also far more flavorful.
