How To Make Parwal Bharta | Parwal Ka Bharta Recipe:

Ingredients:

6 pointed gourds

4-5 cloves of garlic

1 whole red chilli

Half teaspoon nigella seeds (kalonji)

Salt, as per taste

Sugar, as per taste

Half tablespoon oil (preferably mustard oil)

Method:

Step 1. Clean the pointed gourds and cut the edges.

Step 2. Add them to a pressure cooker with some salt and water and wait for one whistle.

Step 3. Now, add it a blender with garlic, red chilli, salt and sugar and mix it to a smooth paste.

Step 4. Heat oil in a kadhai, add kalonji to it and sauté till the seeds temper.

Step 5. Add the paste to the kadhai and mix well. Cook till the excess water is evaporated, leaving behind a semi-dry consistency.

Step 6. Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

Add this quick and easy parwal bharta as a side dish with rice and dal. You can also have it with roti or paratha.
