Subway’s Family Takeout Special Can Get You A Free Sub

For those who prefer to take a sanity walk to grab their take-out these days, Subway is offering a deal to sweeten your experience: When you buy two footlong subs right now, you get one free.

The beloved sandwich shop announced the deal on Twitter, saying that it’s offering it “from our family to yours.” The Family Takeout Special, as it’s called, is available for pickup and drive-thru orders at locations across the country. Yes, although uncommon, drive-thru Subway locations do exist, according to the chain. If you’re not going through a drive-thru (which is most likely), you have to place your order on Subway’s website or through its mobile app.

Now, the deal says the sandwiches are for your family, but you can define that however you like. Whether you want to grab three subs for you to personally devour throughout the day (you know, one for each meal), or take advantage of the deal with your friends AKA your chosen family, then by all means go for it. No one will know, or frankly care, who you choose to give your subs to, as long as you’re being safe.

This deal isn’t available through delivery, but the chain still has something going on for those who prefer to practice proper social distancing but still want a solid sandwich for lunch. Free delivery is available for customers who order Subway through select apps–Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub, and Seamless–using the code “SUBWAYNOW.”

There’s no need to fret over your Subway cravings–they shall not go unfulfilled!
