These Theme Park Milkshakes Come Topped With Half A Pop-Tart

These are uncertain times, but there is one thing that remains unchanging: Dessert is good for the soul. And while you may not have access to this particular dessert at the moment (Six Flags Magic Mountain is currently closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic), we wanted to give you a fun video of it so you can (1) have a joyous, three-minute escape from quarantine life, and (2) line up your vacation plans for when the park reopens and you need some release.

Without further ado: the Thrill Shake.

Both options (which are available right as you walk into the park) are massive and glorious, but let’s start with the strawberry version. Three scoops of strawberry ice cream and a lot of whole milk make up the base of the shake. The mixed concoction is topped with a strawberry ice cream pop, a mound of whipped cream, and half of a frosted strawberry Pop-Tart. Yes, ideally, the whole pastry would be in there, but we can’t always get what we want, you guys.

Next up is the cookies & cream version, which features a similar shake base (with Oreo-laden ice cream instead, of course), but is topped off with an Oreo-covered ice cream bar, an entire brownie pop, more of that sweet, sweet whipped cream, and three entire Oreos.

If you’re looking at either shake and feeling a bit overwhelmed, I can tell you as someone who’s had the opportunity and pleasure of trying them both, this is not a place to hesitate—once you obtain your shake, you need to go face-first into the toppings and work your way down.

See? Don’t you feel a bit better now? Find all the Thrill Shakes at Six Flags Magic Mountain as soon as the coast is clear.
