Chrissy Teigen Shares Hack to Choose At-Home Activities With Your Kids

More and more schools are closed because of the coronavirus outbreak, so many kids are at home and in need of activities. If you’re trying to figure out how to spend time with your kids, Chrissy Teigen is here to remind you of a fun little twist you can add to your decision-making. It only involves paper and a bowl, and you already know how to do it if you’ve ever had to draw a name for secret Santa.

Teigen shared her activity deciding method in two photos posted to Twitter. The first photo shows how she wrote various kid-friendly activities down on paper including “tell a story,” “cook something yummy,” “practice spelling,” and “have a dance party.” She cut each activity into its own piece of paper, folded each one, and mixed them all up in a bowl (presumably with the help of her daughter Luna, who’s pictured in her post).

For those unfamiliar, the next part is easy. Someone blindly picks a piece of paper from the bowl. Whatever is on the paper is the next activity you have to do. Boom! The decision is made. If only all decision-making was that easy.

Not only does this add excitement to choosing an activity, but it’s great for people with multiple kids who can’t agree on something to do together. Everyone can add what they want to do in the bowl. You can’t argue with a pick at random!
