Jeera, or cumin, is rich in anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, antibacterial and antiseptic properties. This spice can help in relieving a host of gut-related issues like- bloating, constipation and others. They are good for detoxification, boost digestion and strengthen immunity system.

Health Benefits Of Dhania:
Corriander seeds are rich in antioxidants and dietary fiber, which promote liver-health and facilitate bowel moments, stated Amol Ghosh, Clinical Tutor (Rtd), N.R.S. Hospial, Kolkata. The rich dietary fiber content in this spice also aids better digestion. They are also good sources of fiber, phosphorus and calcium.

Dr Sheela Krishnaswamy, a Bangalore-based nutrition and wellness consultant, stated that due to its rich aroma and excellent digestive properties, ajwain is commonly added in masalas and sprinkled on dough before making rotis or parathas.

Here’s How You Can Make Roasted Spice Mix At Home:
Step 1: Take jeera, dhania and ajwain in 3:2:1 ratio.
Step 2: Take red chilli as per your taste.
Step 3: Dry roast all these spices on a tawa.
Step 4: Grind them in mortar and pestle or mixer grinder. We prefer mortar and pestel ground spices as that gives a coarser texture to the mix.

How To Store The Roasted Mix:
The best part is, it can be used in any dish you want and can be stored for at least a month. Just make sure, the container is airtight.
