Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers Cups Are Back

Around this time last year, Reese’s released two new peanut butter cups that were made with different ratios of peanut butter and chocolate. The Peanut Butter Lovers Cup had even more PB than a normal Reese’s and the limited time offer is being spotted on shelves once again.

The Peanut Butter Lovers cup debuted in April 2019, and features a top layer that swaps out the milk chocolate shell with a peanut butter one. The bottom of this Reese’s is still chocolate so it doesn’t completely rid itself of the chocolatey, peanut buttery combo we all know and love.

Originally, the Peanut Butter Lovers cup was introduced as a limited time offer, but @Snackbetch on Instagram saw the candies at Safeway and Target, so it looks like they’re back. There’s no telling if they’re back on a limited release once again, or if they’re officially a Reese’s staple.

According to @Snackbetch, Peanut Butter Lovers cups have a bit of a different taste than a traditional Reese’s. “There is only a super thin layer of chocolate at the bottom of the cup and slightly up the sides,” the caption said. “The peanut butter tastes creamier and smoother compared to a normal Reese’s cup.”

Reese’s truly has something for everyone and the brand is always mixing up their chocolate to peanut butter combos. Between Reese’s Thins, pieces, minis, seasonal eggs, and the return of the Peanut Butter Lovers, the only hard part is deciding which one to eat first.
