Ritas Has A New Guava-Flavored Sparkling Margarita

Let’s be real—sometimes you want a fancy cocktail but either don’t have all the specific ingredients on hand or you just don’t feel like putting in the work. No judgement here. You’re probably already familiar with canned cocktails like Ritas, and now there’s a Guav-A-Rita drink that will be a staple to your summertime.

Ritas is the brand that makes your go-to Lime-A-Ritas and Straw-Ber-Rita’s and this new flavor has an even better tropical twist. This new drink will be a limited-edition flavor for summer 2020 and is a guava-flavored sparkling margarita. So if you’re into the taste of a margarita but like the fizziness of a hard seltzer, this drink is practically made for you.

Each Guav-A-Rita can is eight percent ABV and you can purchase them in single 25-ounce cans or 12-packs of 12-ounce cans. The new flavor was announced back in March, so you can probably find cans of Guav-A-Rita’s at your liquor store or wherever you can find the more traditional Ritas flavors.

There are quite a few sparkling margarita flavors that have already been put out by Ritas. Lime-A-Rita, Straw-Ber-Rita, Water-Melon-Rita, Berry-A-Rita, Mang-O-Rita, and Lemon-Ade-Rita are all options available, but the new guava is the only one that’s limited-edition. Chances are, like most limited edition flavors, if the Guav-A-Rita is popular, it may come back next year or as an evergreen product. Here’s hoping!
