Sonic Unveiled 2 New Reese’s Desserts Packed With Peanut Butter

Just when you thought Sonic couldn’t possibly get any better, the chain goes and casually drops some of the hottest new menu items of the spring. Starting today, you can pick up two new Reese’s-packed desserts at your local drive-in.

Time to get acquainted with our new favorite desserts, the Reese’s Overload Waffle Cone and Blast. In short, Sonic took ice cream and blended it with peanut butter, Reese’s Pieces, and Reese’s cups to make some treats that are perfect for chocolate and peanut butter fans.

Now time for the long version: The Reese’s Overload Waffle Cone starts with a chocolate waffle cone layered with peanut butter and vanilla ice cream, topped with more peanut butter, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Mini Reese’s Pieces candy. You’ll need two hands for this guy.

The Reese’s Overload Blast has Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Mini Reese’s Pieces candy blended with peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. It’s then finished with more Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and Mini Reese’s Pieces on top.

Both treats are a mix of textures (crunchy and creamy), flavors (sweet and salty), and treats (candy and ice cream, duh!). All you have to decide is which one is right for you that day. I can never turn down a waffle cone, but I would not judge you if you’d rather have a blended treat.

If it’s still too cold in your neck of the woods to think about ice cream, luckily for you, this will be available for quite a bit. You can find both treats on menu boards from March 2 to May 3.
