McDonald’s Sells Hot ‘N Spicy McChickens

McDonald’s is testing out “hot ‘n spicy” McChicken sandwiches at select locations and if your closest McDonald’s doesn’t have them, it can be super easy to get them on the menu (more on that later!). The spicy chicken sandwich can be ordered alone or as a $3 bundle meal.

The sandwich comes with a spicy chicken patty, mayonnaise, and lettuce on a bun. If the $3 bundle is available at your McDonald’s, that includes the sandwich, a drink, and a side of fries. Ordering the sandwich alone will run you about $1.68, although the price can vary slightly by location.

The Endorsement, a YouTuber who reviews fast food, posted a video all about the hot ‘n spicy McChicken. He ultimately gave it an 88 out of 100, saying that the spice level is ideal for those who don’t love things too spicy but would maybe want to switch up their order if they typically go for the original McChicken. The Endorsement describes the hot ‘n spicy sandwich as a “nice change up from the regular McChicken.”

According to ChewBoom, the hot ‘n spicy isn’t necessarily a new menu item, but it can be rare to come across since it’s not available on menus nationwide yet. The option has been spotted at McDonald’s locations in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, and Florida.

If your McDonald’s doesn’t have this spicy sandwich available, it may be as easy as telling them you’d love to see it as an offering. As with most menu items that are in their testing stages, it’s all about supply and demand—so go ahead! Ask! (Politely, please.)
